Hi, I’m Kara!

I’m an Edinburgh based personal trainer and online fitness coach with over 13 years experience.

I help women feel confident in the gym, fall in love with training and get into incredible shape. All whilst maintaining a healthy relationship with food and creating genuine balance and positive lifestyle changes.

From a young age I had a bad relationship with my body and food which developed into an eating disorder. I went from being bulimic to restrictive eating and over training. I now have a great relationship with food and the gym and this is why ! am so passionate about what I do!

I love helping women feel confident in and outside of the gym and realise you do not have to restrict and overtrain to get the physique you want.

A lot of women have no idea where to start when it comes to weights and that’s where I come in!

Lets face it your nutrition plays a huge part in your results. But that doesn’t mean you have to be super restrictive, live off chicken and broccoli and cut out all the things you enjoy.

I help you have a balanced approach to nutrition and creating healthy sustainable habits, so you can reach your goals and get the most out of your nutrition without having to sacrifice life.

Body Confidence

I am all about body confidence, positivity and learning to love your body. I am sick of seeing perfect images on social media and do my best to keep it real. This is a selection of images I like and images I don’t and a reminder that our bodies can look different depending on the angle.

  • No. You do not need to be a member of Edinburgh Leisure, I am able to give you acces

  • This really is dependant on your goals and budget. I have clients who train twice a week, clients that train once a week and some clients that train fortnightly. Happy to have a chat and make the best plan for you! I do also offer online coaching.

  • Yes there is free parking available onsite at Edinburgh Leisure Meadowbank

  • Yes! The majority of my clients are female but I do train men and have had great results and feedback.
